I have always worked as a practitioner in addition to my academic activities. After leaving the company to join university, I embarked on a legal consultancy activity which I still practice. I subsequently had the opportunity to sit in arbitration proceedings. And today I provide training on my favorite topics.

at work

I have been providing legal advice since 2007 and in particular am a consultant within  Lysias Partners.

I advised, for 10 years, the National Bar Council, for which I was led to analyze draft legislative or regulatory texts and to follow the various stages of their adoption by Parliament or the government. I have also been led to develop or contribute to the development of reform texts that have been proposed to the public authorities. Finally, I carried out prospective reflections (participatory justice, contractualisation of family law, evolution of the legal services market, development of LegalTech).

I also had the opportunity to collaborate with the services of the Commission of the European Union on the occasion of the drafting of the European Directive on business secrecy.

I had the opportunity to sit as an arbitrator in ad hoc internal arbitrations relating to business litigation (distribution law) and to chair an arbitral tribunal.

I am a member of the French Arbitration Association.

I recently wrote a small contribution to the AFA newsletter relating to “court ordered arbitrations” sometimes decided by American judges (link to the AFA newsletter of October 2017 here).

I provide training on subjects on which I have or have had the opportunity to work and publish. I also design, according to requests, training courses on other subjects.

I currently provide training on the following subjects:

  • Artificial intelligence, Big Data, GDPR
  • Blockchain
  • Compliance (Sapin 2 laws, Vigilance law for parent companies)
  • Protection of business secrets
  • Liability law reform projects
  • Group actions
